Ryanair shares do well
There were mixed fortunes for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets pushed ahead. The FTSE 100 index added 25.2 points to close at 5000.2, while the broader-based FTSE 250 put on 5.9 points to end the day at 7263.3. The biggest move of the day came at Ryanair, which managed to push ahead to 414.75p, up 7.625p.
