Silversea rolling out free unlimited Wi-Fi for all guests
Cruise line Silversea is extending its free Wi-Fi to an unlimited basis for all passsngers across its entire fleet of ships.
For a couple of years each guest has been entitled to at least one hour of free Internet access each day.
From next month all guests in standard suites will get free unlimited Wi-Fi while guests in Silver Suites and above will enjoy free unlimited high bandwidth Internet access for up to two devices per person.
The unlimited premium plan is also available to standard suite passengers for an upgrade fee.
"We know how important it is to catch up on emails or share photos on social media while on vacation," said Barbara Muckermann, Silversea CMO.
"Now, with free unlimited Wi-Fi in all suites, our guests can stay as connected as they like while they voyage to the most fascinating places on Earth."
The free Wi-Fi also applies on its expedition ships.
Oceania recently announced it will offer free Wi-Fi to all from next month, joining other high-end cruise line such as Crystal and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
