Places on a South Africa fam trip will be up for grabs at a series of agent roadshows next month.

South African Tourism, in conjunction with Emirates, will be mounting a series of regional roadshows with product presentations from the hosts and partners including The Mantis Collection, Springbok Atlas, Protea Hotels, the National Park Service and the Tourism Enterprise Partnership.

Agents will be given the chance to win two places per roadshow on an educational to South Africa in November 2010 which will take in the country’s three largest cities: Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

The roadshow details are:

November 6,  The Thistle Hotel, Glasgow,

November 7, The Thistle County Hotel, Newcastle,

November 8, The Ramada, Chester.

November 9 The Ramada, Solihull.

Further roadshows are planned for later this year in the run up to the World Travel Market in November.

South African Tourism Country Manager UK Lebohang Mokhesi said: "Focussed trade initiatives such as these contribute greatly towards improving and enhancing knowledge in this key market, which we firmly believe helps boost arrivals as well as helping to maintain a good perception of South Africa as a holiday destination."

To apply for a place on the roadshows, agents should contact [email protected].
