Southeast Asia tourism ministers implement ASEAN tourism strategies
Southeast Asia tourism ministers have agreed a host of measures to bolster the regional tourism recovery.
They form the basis of the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan.
They met at 2023 ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
“Each Southeast Asia tourism organization identified strategic steps and activities to increase the ATSP,” said Sandiaga Uno, Indonesia tourism minister.
Agreements were made on sustainable tourism and increasing the mutual recognition arrangement for tourism professionals.
“We also encourage transformation of digital tourism,” Sandiaga added.
