Starwood adding portfolio on TripAdvisor Instant Booking

Tuesday, 27 Jan, 2016 0
Starwood Hotels & Resorts is the latest global hospitality firm to add its portfolio to TripAdvisor’s Instant Booking.

It joins other major chains such as Best Western, Accor, Wyndham, Choice Hotels and Marriott International.

Starwood will list its global portfolio of brands, including Sheraton, St Regis and Westin, on the Instant Booking platform, which allows customers to book rooms direct within the TripAdvisor site.

We are excited about an enhanced relationship with TripAdvisor as it allows us to deepen our touch-points with TripAdvisor’s global community of travelers while maintaining a consistent connection with guests before, during, and after their stay at a Starwood hotel," said Julie Atkinson, Starwood’s senior vice president of global digital.

"We appreciate the work TripAdvisor has done to expand upon the existing distribution models and the partnership will provide a clear benefit to our global hotel portfolio."

Using the TripAvisor ‘Book Now’ button guests can reserve rooms instantly and all aftersales support inquiries are handled by Starwood’s customer care team.

"Adding Starwood’s robust brand offerings and acclaimed properties to our fast-growing instant booking platform provides the TripAdvisor community with even more choice and flexibility when booking travel," said Robin Ingle, senior vice president of global sales at TripAdvisor.
