Stewart made chair of cruise agency group
Willie Stewart has been made chair of The Leading Cruise Agents of the UK representing 70 cruise specialist travel agencies.
The outgoing chairman of Advantage, Stewart of Stewart Travel, plans to continue with the group’s website relaunch and the second edition of the consumer focused magazine for new to cruise customers.
"It’s also my plan,’ Stewart said, ‘to extend the reach of our well-established ‘Top 100 Cruise Offers’ – provided weekly by our Associate Cruise Line partners – to the UK consumer media and their millions of readers. We’re already compiling a completely new email database of nearly 100 national and regional daily and Sunday newspapers and from next month we’ll be emailing them fortnightly with a range of the best cruise offers on the market, in co-operation with our Associate partners."
Jeremy Scott, of B away, also joins the LCA as a director.
