Swan Hellenic president dies
The president of discovery cruise line Swan Hellenic has died aged 86.
Ken Swan, son of the company’s founder, was a regular traveller on the company’s vessels, Minerva and its successor Minerva II.
He received the OBE in 1996 for services to the travel industry and spent more than 50 years in the cruise industry.
Swan Hellenic managing director Tony Dyson said: “Ken had continued to be actively involved in the company, and we will miss him tremendously. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Marion his wife, and his family.”
