Thomas Cook partners with bedbank YouTravel
Thomas Cook has inked a partnership with Dubai-headquartered YouTravel, the online distributor of Meeting Point International hotels, and part of the FTI GROUP.
The deal gives Thomas Cook’s customers access to more than 20,000 hotels including the travel group’s MP Hotels portfolio.
It has exclusive access to the MP Hotels group which has 62 3-5-star properties in the Mediterranean’s most popular holiday destinations.
YouTravel also have unrivalled access to many other key hotels across Europe and beyond including UAE and US.
Thomas Cook has integrated the bedbank into its digital platform to give its customers more choice and to benefit in particular from the LABRANDA, Kairaba, Design Plus, Lemon&Soul and MP Hotel collection of hotels.
Emma King, head of commercial product, said: "Our focus for this new digital-only Thomas Cook is to give customers the choice of the best hotels in the places they love. Partnering with YouTravel gives us access to their wide network of beach and city hotels in the most popular destinations."
The new online-only Thomas Cook holiday company launched in September 2020 following China’s Fosun Tourism Group acquisition of the Thomas Cook brand and associated digital assets.
Matthew Carpenter, General Manager UK & Ireland, YouTravel said: "Thomas Cook remains an iconic name and the partnership deal is already reaping rewards for us as people return to the brand once again to book their holidays. Our MP Hotels collection is particularly popular with British families and it’s great to be able to offer them through the Thomas Cook platform."
