TMC revamps client referral scheme
FCm Travel Solutions expects to win an extra £50 million worth of new business over the next two years thanks to its new electronic client referral scheme.
Called FCm Connections, existing clients will be rewarded with cash credits on a Visa Electron card for any business referral which leads to an appointment with a member of the FCm sales team.
If FCm subsequently wins that piece of business, the client is rewarded again with a further credit.
It replaces the old referral system, Rollercoaster, which involved scratch cards and retail shopping vouchers as client rewards.
This scheme led to £70 million in new UK business over the last five years.
Ciarán Kelly, general manager UK, said: “The Rollercoaster referral scheme has been very successful over the last five years, but it was time to review the process involved and make it more streamlined and efficient.
“We are confident that the FCm Connections Visa Electron card system will be even more popular with our existing clients and generate a considerable amount of new business for us.”
