Tourist dies after falling from Thailand’s ‘Death Railway’ train
An Irish tourist tragically died while taking selfies on Thailand’s infamous ‘Death Railway’.
Patrick Ward, 45, fell from the train near Krasae Cave Kanchanaburi province.
The Death Railway is a popular tourist attraction and was immortalised in the classic movie ‘Bridge Over The River Kwai.’
He lost his footing and fell out of a door he opened to take photos.
It happened at one of the most scenic sections of the route as the train passed cliffs above Krasae Cave.
