TravelTrac Release TrekTrac for Adventure Travel Sharing
TravelTrac (www.traveltrac.com), a developer of travel and trip sharing domains, announced today the early adoption release of TrekTrac (www.trektrac.com) their premiere no cost travel sharing application dedicated to land based exploration and adventure travel. TravelTrac venues offer the adventure traveler an integration of web 2.0 mash-up technologies and remote access features to stay connected and share their travel adventures via the web. TrekTrac provides no cost service to the active traveler allowing them to share their global adventures in virtual real time with friends and family back home, or fellow travel enthusiasts’ worldwide. Public release is slated for December 15th, 2008.
TrekTrac integrates custom Google maps of route and current position; permits the easy submission of journal entries, upload and geotag photos, and even video. Import an address book of friends and TrekTrac will automatically notify a user’s contacts when you make updates to your travel adventures while en route or underway.
