Virgin Voyages pushes back cruise launch to January 2021
Virgin Voyages has now extended cruise cancellations until early 2021.
The new adults-only cruise line, still waiting to make its debut, cancelled all cruises in December and hopes to finally sail in 2021.
It informed travel agent partners in an email this week.
It took delivery of its first ship Scarlet Lady just as the world began to shut down due to Covid-19.
It will sail cruises out of Miami to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, including a call at Virgin’s private dock at the Bimini Beach Club.
The line’s first scheduled cruise is now 3 January from Miami with a five-day sailing to Bimini and Puerto Plata.
