Voyager-class ship to operate on US West Coast
Royal Caribbean International is to deploy one of its vast Voyager-class ships from Los Angeles.
The 3,114-passenger Mariner of the Seas will operate seven-night sailings to the Mexican Rivera from February 2009.
Ports of call will include Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, with 27 departures scheduled.
The line’s marketing senior vice-president Alice Norsworthy said: “We are thrilled to bring one of the best products in the industry to Los Angeles to meet the demand for Royal Caribbean’s active style of cruising from the US West Coast.”
