Woman dies during Grand Canyon boating trip
A woman died after falling into fast-flowing rapids on a river trip at the Grand Canyon.
The National Park Service said Mary Kelley, 68, of Colorado, fell near Hance Rapid on the Colorado River. Other people on the boat pulled her out of the water and she was given CPR but was unsuccessful. It happened during a multi-day private river tour.
Park rangers and the Coconino County medical examiner are investigating.
