Following its success last month, P&O Cruises popular Shine on Shore incentive* is returning with even more chances to win some incredible prizes including 500 Shine points, £100 vouchers and a seven-night fly/cruise holiday.   “We had such a great response to last month’s Shine on Shore incentive and I’d like to congratulate all of our lucky winners.   Guests on P&O Cruises Caribbean sailings on Arvia and Britannia can now book ceremonies on shore for the first time. To celebrate the launch of the new Ceremonies on Shore, P&O Cruises is offering travel agents 5% commission on all Ceremony packages booked as part of a P&O Cruises holiday.   Carnival UK & P&O Cruises associate vice president, sales & distribution Ruth Venn said: “In addition to the stunning Ceremonies at Sea already offered on board all seven P&O Cruises ships, these new Ceremonies on Shore will boost the current average of around 600 ceremonies across the fleet each year. They will provide agents with the opportunity to use the growing trend of celebrations abroad to reach new audiences and promote P&O Cruises ceremonies.”   “Ceremonies on Shore” offers legal weddings and commitment ceremonies, with guests now able to step off the ship and make their vows on the sandy beaches of Barbados or at the luxury Fairmont Royal Pavilion resort’s private beach or garden.   P&O Cruises ceremony packages include dedicated specialists before and during the cruise and the Ceremony on Shore package includes:

  To celebrate the launch of the new Ceremonies Sea and Shore packages, P&O Cruises is offering agents 5% commission on the base package only of any Ceremonies package booked as part of a P&O Cruises holiday. This new 5% commission is in addition to the usual base rate commission on the cruise holidays and is applicable to all base packages in the Ceremonies Sea and Shore range booked between 16 October 2025 and 16 April 2026. Agents will also be able to spin the bookings on Shine Rewards Club.   A “Ceremony on Shore’ package starts at £4,999, with options to upgrade the venue, add guests and personalise the experience with additional extras. Ceremonies can also be conducted at sea, offering couples even more flexibility in how and where they celebrate.

  Guests of all ages will be welcomed on board P&O Cruises ships Arcadia and Aurora from December 2026.   Selected cruises on the two smaller ships in the P&O Cruises fleet will be open to families on specific dates, during peak holiday periods and in time for Christmas next year.   The change provides an even wider range of cruise options for multi-generational groups and families, with more holidays available from the home port of Southampton and will add 23% more cruises for families to choose from in school summer holidays in 2027.   Bookings open on October 7, 2025 with cruises available on Aurora from December 11, 2026 and on Arcadia from December 21, 2026.   A total of 12 sailings on Aurora and eight on Arcadia will be available to families through to September 2027. More holidays for winter 2027-28 go on sale on October 14, 2025.   Menus for children will be available together with baby changing and bottle warming facilities and both ships will offer entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy.   There will be a wide range of spaces available for everyone on board – from quiet to more lively spaces and special events.   Carnival UK & P&O Cruises associate vice president, sales & distribution Ruth Venn said: “Recent CLIA data showed that multi-generational travel is a rising trend. P&O Cruises ship Iona will be based in the Caribbean for winter 2027/28 on fly-cruises, alongside sister ship Arvia. The addition of the 5,200-passenger ship will increase Caribbean capacity. Iona will sail two-week cruises throughout the Caribbean departing Barbados starting from October 2027 through the spring of 2028. Cruise bookings include nonstop charter flights departing the UK. P&O Britannia sails with Arvia in the Caribbean for the next two winter seasons. The new cruises will open for sale next month. During a session on trends, Ruth said that the multigenerational market was particularly strong.

P&O Cruises is teaming up with a trio of top local chefs for a culinary experience for fly-cruise guests sailing from Barbados this winter. Celebrated chefs Sophie Michell, Adrian Cumberbatch and Damian Leach will create ‘A Taste of Barbados’ on board two ships. Guests on Caribbean fly-cruise sailings on Arvia and Britannia will be treated to the new culinary experience throughout the season from October 2025 to March 2026. The ships will offer a range of food events and local dishes in collaboration with the three chefs alongside signature Caribbean cocktails by mixologist Shane McClean. Guests can savour dishes made by the chefs as part of live cookery demonstrations. Sophie Michell, chef patron of the renowned Local & Co in Speightstown, Barbados, will curate a five-course dinner for weekly hosted dinners in The Cookery Club on Britannia. She will regularly attend these, engaging with guests about the menu and local food culture, and sharing stories about her life on the island. Reservations for the special hosted dinners can be made upon boarding. Guests can also sample created dishes in the buffet, featuring local ingredients selected by the chefs. A Taste of Barbados will include dishes such as lobster, local fish, aromatic saltfish with roast breadfruit, ginger sweet potato purée and spiced pineapple chutney.   Norse Atlantic Airways’ first charter flight with P&O Cruises departed from Manchester Airport, marking a new chapter in travel partnership. The flight carried over 300 guests to Barbados, where they joined fellow passengers aboard Britannia for a 14-night Caribbean cruise.   Between November ’24 and March ’25 Norse Atlantic will operate a weekly Friday flight from Manchester to Barbados. It will operate Saturday flights from London Gatwick and Manchester to Antigua/Barbados (alternating weeks). P&O Cruises just announced details of one its largest ship visit programmes to date. There will be over 1,000 places for travel agents along with new initiatives to elevate the experience. The 2024 ship visits programme take place in Southampton between April and October with travel agents spending time on board P&O Cruises newest ships, Arvia and Iona, as well as Britannia, Ventura, Aurora and Arcadia. There will also be a selection of regional visits and details will be announced in due course. During the visits agents will take a tour of the cabins, entertainment venues and dining, as well as a three- course meal in one of the restaurants. In addition, for the first time ever, travel agents will receive 20 Shine points for attending the full day, a soft drinks voucher, complimentary Wi-Fi and free time onboard after lunch. P&O Cruises reported its strongest January ever, with record-breaking sales volume during the month.  Most popular destinations booked were the Caribbean, the Norwegian fjords and the Atlantic Islands, while P&O Cruises Iona, garnered the most interest. P&O Cruises has rolled our a new collection of cruise holidays for winter 2025/26 with a dozen new ports of call. They go on general sale from October 18, 2023. As well as new destinations to look forward to, there are introductory offers, such as a 10% saving and 10% deposit offer. In winter 2025/2026, P&O Cruises will return to 12 ports for the first time in five or more years. These include Los Angeles, Melbourne, Bali, as well as Bodø in Norway and Dunedin in New Zealand. These P&O Cruises holidays will also include more extended stays in port to delve deeper into the destination. Cruises booked by December 4, 2023 will include a 10% introductory saving on applicable winter 2025/26 Select Price holidays. There is also a 10% deposit offer on applicable Select Price or Early Saver holidays departing between October 2025 and March 2026. In addition, there is a 5% Peninsular Club saving for members of P&O Cruises loyalty programme. Highlights of the programme include new Caribbean fly-cruise holidays on Britannia with two new itineraries with calls in Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Grand Turk. In December 2025, Aurora will go on an extended 14-night northern lights cruise from Southampton, with calls at Åndalsnes, Bodø, Narvik, Tromsø and Haugesund. In January 2026, Aurora will embark on a 75-night Grand Tour around South America.

Departing Southampton on April 15, 2024 the price includes full board meals and entertainment. Returning to Southampton, ports of call are Stavanger, Nordfjordeid, Trondheim, Åndalsnes, Ålesund, Bergen and Kristiansand. Mediterranean, 14-nights with up to £600 on board spending   14-nights on Arvia (K408) from £1,299 per person based on a sea view cabin. Departing Southampton on April 14, 2024 the price includes full board meals, entertainment and children’s clubs. Returning to Southampton, ports of call are La Coruna (Spain), Mallorca (Spain), Florence/Pisa (from La Spezia, Italy), Marseille (France), Barcelona (Spain) and Seville (from Cádiz, Spain). On-board spending amounts are on a per cabin based for two people sharing. The double onboard spending offer is not applicable to inside cabins on cruises under seven nights.
