Albuquerque Convention Center goes in for a facelift
Ground broke this week on the first phase of the renovation of the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Phase 1 of the $20 million MICE project will be completed in August 2013. It is part of an over $300 million spend in recent improvements to Albuquerque’s hospitality product, both for the meetings industry and for the consumer tourist trade.
Project highlights include a new food tasting and demonstration room and renovation of the West Building upper level ballrooms including improved sound systems and other technology upgrades.
