Bigger in Japan
InsideJapan reports increased growth in all areas of its business.
It says it has had to run extra small group tours to cope with demand in 2009/10 with tour occupancy at over 95%.
Looking forward, 2011 tours are already filling out with some spring tours already sold out.
Thanks to its committment to the Aito ‘Closer Ties’ programme it has increased its work with agents across the country.
“Work with agents now accounts for approximately 25% of the business and as reputation spreads, continues to grow healthily,†said a spokesman.
“InsideJapan have recently joined travel consortia such as Advantage and the Travel Counsellors.
“Overall business has risen 74% on 2008/09, with the final third of the year still to go. Turnover and profit have risen considerably and bookings are already very healthy for 2011.â€
The company, based in Bristol in the UK and Nagoya in Japan, has also opened an office in the US this year, in Boulder, Colorado.
“This, of course has allowed InsideJapan Tours UK staff to concentrate on giving their European based customers a more efficient service,†said the spokesman.
