Bristol boost by easyJet
EasyJet is to add Hamburg and a ski route to Grenoble this winter from Bristol airport.
The no-frills carrier will run six flights a week to Hamburg from December 1 with tickets starting at £17.99.
The three times a week Grenoble service starts on December 15 for the winter only with seat prices leading in at £24.99 one way.
The airline expects to carry almost 100,000 passengers in the first year on the Hamburg route and more than 25,000 on the Grenoble service.
EasyJet has doubled capacity from Bristol in three years and now offers 24 routes operated by eight aircraft.
The carrier’s market manager for Bristol Emma Curwood said: “EasyJet is positive about is future at Bristol airport and believes there is great potential for further growth.”
