Guatemala airport to reopen
Guatemala’s La Aurora international airport is expected to reopen tomorrow (Wednesday) following the eruption of the Pacaya Volcano and tropical storm Agatha which has now killed 123 people.
Hundreds of Guatemalans fled their homes after Pacaya began erupting lava and rocks on Thursday some 19 miles south of the capital, Guatemala City.
The volcano coated parts of Guatemala City in ash, including the airport and many planes. Flights have been diverted to other parts of the country.
