Hong Kong Disneyland reopening on June 18
Hong Kong Disneyland will start welcoming guests again later this week.
Park management announced a reopening date of June 18, becoming the second Disney park to open since the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The park had been closed for more than four months.
"As we carefully welcome guests back to our park, we will draw on the learnings from the recent reopening of Shanghai Disney Resort and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. Similarly, we will also implement new and enhanced health and safety measures following the guidance of our local government and health care officials," the company said.
The Shanghai park reopened last month, and US themes parks in Orlando and Anaheim have recently announced they will reopen in July.
Hong Kong Disneyland will start with limits on attendance numbers and social distancing measures in lines for rides, public areas and at restaurants.
In addition enhanced disinfecting will be conducted in high contact areas.
