India airline Go First could be sold
The owner of India airline Go First is reportedly looking to sell a majority stake.
Wadia Group could even sell off its entire holding, India news media reports.
Wadia Group has apparently begun talks to divest its stake.
‘All options are being considered’ for the struggling airline.
“Multiple scenarios have been planned and the last option will be to exit the airline business,” an airline source said.
The India airline has been losing money and more than half of its fleet is grounded.
This is due to long running engine supply issues with Pratt & Whitney.
