The TRAVDEX@ITB travel technology convention will be held as part of ITB which runs on March 8-12, 2006.

The organisers said: “Together with this outstanding business partner, ITB Berlin is staging a newly organised and top-level event, which will porvide an importnat impetus and set high standards for the travel technology sector.”

An Aviation Day will also be staged for the second year in succession and a Marketing and Sales Day is to be introduced. A Hospitality session is being expanded to cover a full day and a Future and Innovations forum is to be repeated.

Business travel will feature on all five days as part of an ITB Convention Market Trends and Innovation section of panel discussions first introduced last year.

Information on selected destinations will be provided at destination forums to be held on all five trade days at ITB.

Further details are due to be announced next month.
