Laterooms trolls Katie Hopkins

Tuesday, 11 Nov, 2016 0

Controversial columnist Katie Hopkins has been trolled by hotel booking website LateRooms.com offering to help fund her departure from the UK.

The website joined others on social media who have urged the outspoken former Apprentic to follow through on her earlier promise to move to America if Donald Trump won the US election.

LateRooms shared on image on Twitter of a mock booking made through its site for a night at President-Elect Trump’s hotel in New York.

It tweeted: "Hey @KTHopkins, still fancy moving to the states? Have your first night on us #BYEBYE".

Prior to the election, Hopkins had publicly backed Trump, who she described as a champion of the people against the establishment, and said she would move to live in America if he became president.

However, Hopkins has since backed down on her promise, saying readers of her Daily Mail column need her in the UK.
