Riviera Travel launching southern France river cruises next year
Riviera Travel is set to sail southern France river cruises next year.
The 140-guest ship MS Lord Byron will offer an eight-day Burgundy, River Rhone and Provence itinerary in 2022.
Originally scheduled to cruise the route this year, it is now back on sale for 15 cruises from April to October next year.
Prices start at £1,569pp, including return flights and transfers.
Katja Hildebrandt from Riviera Travel said: "We’re delighted to confirm to the trade that their customers once again have the opportunity to set sail on the Lord Byron."
The Lyon to Avignon itinerary includes seven visits and tours, including Arles and Vienne, wine tasting in Beaune; and excursions to the Ardèche Gorges.
The Lord Byron has 74 staterooms, including a suites and luxury cabins, a sun deck, a splash pool and putting green. In addition it has a wellness area with sauna, steam room and hairdressing salon.
