The bosses come calling on MTAs
Mobile Travel Agents (MTA) senior management hit the road next month for the annual national member updates programme.
Hot topics will be the implications of the recently announced Helloworld development, new MTA fee structures and a member rewards and recognition incentive.
The updates programme will give joint managing directors, Roy and Karen Merricks and CEO Don Beattie the opportunity to update the MTA membership on the slew of changes the company intends implementing from January 1, 2014.
The regional meetings will also provide MTA management with an opportunity to introduce the recently launched raft of high tech tools designed to build on the company’s existing Virtual Office (VO) technology.
Merricks said the regional meetings provide the perfect platform for senior management to get back to "grass roots" with the MTA members.
"More to the point, these regional meetings give the MTA members an opportunity to address any issues directly with senior management on a face to face basis," Merricks said.
The regional meetings will take place as follows:
2 December – Brisbane
4 December -Sydney
9 December -Melbourne
10 December -Adelaide
13 December -Perth
