Crystal Symphony to homeport in Antigua
Crystal is adding a second ship in the Caribbean this summer.
Crystal Symphony will join Crystal Serenity in the region with the former offering 10-night ‘Luxury Caribbean Escapes’ from Antigua.
The deployment at St. John’s, Antigua begins on 5 August through December 2021 and features sailings to Barbados, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Maarten and British Virgin Islands.
It is the first ever ship to homeport at St. John’s.
"St. John’s is an ideal home port to begin luxury journeys through such a paradise," said Jack Anderson, Crystal’s interim president and CEO.
It marks ‘an important milestone’ for Antigua, says Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism for Antigua and Barbuda.
Reservations open on 20 April.
Crystal has said all cruises will be fully vaccinated and all guests must have received the final dose of the vaccine at least 14 days prior to boarding.
Crystal Cruises recently announced that Crystal Serenity would offer all-Bahamas itineraries starting in July.
