TUI director to become new Thomas Cook MD

Saturday, 11 Oct, 2017 0

Thomas Cook Group has appointed TUI’s Andrew Flintham as managing director of its UK business.

He will replace Chris Mottershead, who is moving into the role of chief of UK source market and group differentiated product.

Flintham, who is currently TUI UK & Ireland commercial director, will join Thomas Cook next March after 10 years with the rival operator.

He will take responsibility of the day-to-day operations in the UK, reporting directly to Mottershead, who retains overall responsibility for the UK source market.

In his new role, Mottershead will also be responsible for relationships with Thomas Cook Group’s most important partners and hotel procurement, along with customer service and experience in those properties.
